Question about Git, Reset, and whether or not Test matters

Lovely people, I have been tied in knots by unwittingly tying our Git in knots. I decided that the best way to fix things was to follow the “Reset Dev Environment to Live” section of this page:

It seems to have worked for Dev, but Test still has all the old, borked stuff in it. (Test is as far as it went - it never made it to live.) Do I worry about this? Ignore it?

Did you attempt to deploy the code from dev -> test yet? AFAIK, that should just tag test and you should be good to go.

What @uberhacker said. But if that doesn’t work, then you might need to overwrite the test tags. See https://pantheon.io/docs/hotfixes for more info on that.

They are still there in the Deploy Log, but they don’t seem to be bothering the site as it stands… Is that bad? They are not there on Dev, or naturally, on Live.

Hmmm, I’m not super sure about that - might want to open a support chat?
