Pantheon Releases Platform Updates to Enhance Security and Site Reliability
It’s that time again! With platform security, performance and automation at the forefront, we could not be more excited to share this suite of product enhancements with you all! 
We now have Decoupled CMS Upstreams to expedite spinning up the CMS backend for your Front-End Sites ! If you are not yet part of our #front-end-frameworks channel, definitely join. Our team is eager to chat with you! We also recently updated the Drupal and WordPress Next.js Starter Kit to substantially improve initial start-up times. Exciting, we know! And topping the list of product enhancements is SSH Authentication. Connections are now up to 10 times faster and more reliable with improved SSH Authentication. This release strengthens security and optimizes developer productivity for organizations with tens or hundreds of developers working simultaneously.
But that’s not all…
This quarter, we also introduced two new offerings! The Security Starter and Image Optimization (IO) Starter . The Security Starter offers a CMS-tuned Web Application Firewall (WAF), powered by Fastly, to help detect + block malicious traffic requests. The Image Optimization (IO) Starter allows teams to enhance the end-user experience by improving page load times, which also can contribute to a boost in Google search rankings. Pretty neat, right?
