I know this is a few days late, BUT absolutely well deserved…
David (they/them) has been awarded the Community Champion badge in our forum, for their unwavering support & commitment to making the open web a better place! You’ve likely seen David popping around in Slack responding to other community members every chance they get! Which makes sense, considering they shared their favorite thing about being part of our community was “learning from the very knowledgeable folks that make up the Pantheon community as well as helping out when I can in the Slack workspace.” Well, right back at cha David!
When we asked David wad inspired them to do the work they do today, this is what they had to say:
“You remember the FOIL method for binomial multiplication from algebra way back in the day? Well, I realized that with nothing but some nested for loops, I could program the computer to do all my math homework. Sadly, my teacher didn’t accept the output from my Commodore 64, but it did instill within me a love for computers and software development!” I don’t know, I think I would have accepted your homework based on sole innovation @dashifen
It’s safe to say David has made an everlasting impact on the communities they serve & continues to do so today! From the bottom of our heart, we thank you for all you do each and every day to make the open web a better place. We are so lucky to have you as part of our community David & we are so excited to see what the future has in store for you!
