Now Announcing Our April 2022 Community Champion 🥳

Pantheon’s Community Team is thrilled to share that Sarah German (@sarahg), Senior Engineer at GitLab, is our Community Champion of the Month for April 2022. :tada:

Sarah has been awarded the Community Champion badge in our Community Forum, for her unwavering support and commitment to helping others both on and offline. Sarah, who is also a Pantheon Hero, can often be found in our Autopilot, Terminus, WordPress, and Drupal Community Slack channels answering questions and sharing resources. One recent example of Sarah in action on our Community Slack is when she jumped in to share insights and resources when Paul Grotevant posted about issues with ACF Pro in WordPress and when she shared advice with Jeff Mann when they asked if there’s a way to tell whether a site is in Git vs. SFTP mode in code.

When we asked Sarah what inspired her to do the work she does today, this is what she had to say:

I like solving problems for developers, and being able to do this in a community-driven, open source environment is just a lot of fun. I love collaborating with people from all over the world on tools that let us work more efficiently.

And when we asked Sarah about her hidden superpower, she replied with:

Befriending antisocial cats.

Well, we definitely share Sarah’s enthusiasm for open source as well as for pets! We’re definitely glad Sarah’s passion for solving problems and collaborating with others led her to web development and Pantheon! Our community wouldn’t be the same without you, Sarah.

From the bottom of our heart, we thank you for all you do each and every day to make our community and the open web a better place. We’re so lucky to have you as an integral part of our community and look forward to seeing all the amazing things you’ll continue to do in the future!

Everyone, please join us in congratulating Sarah!
