Fresh off the press this week is Pantheon’s Inclusive Language Guide. This guide was created to elevate the way we communicate at Pantheon and to support our community and contributors in using more inclusive language.
It will help ensure everyone feels included and welcome by the language we use and the examples we share.
Guide contributor @sparklingrobots writes:
I’m so excited we’ve launched our Inclusive Language Guide. We wanted an easy way for our employees and customers to collaborate on the language that feels most welcoming and supportive to all of us, so we put the guide in our open-source documentation.
Check out the guide for more information about ways you may be unintentionally excluding someone with your language. And let us know if we missed something! You can always open an issue so we can make the guide even better.
