About the Ideas Hub category

Welcome to our Ideas Hub!

We love hearing about how you use our tools and what we can do to make them better! Please share all Pantheon Platform product feedback, feature requests & suggestions here.

Here are a few guidelines on how to use the Product Feedback topic, so our team can effectively share your feedback:

1. Follow our Community Code of Conduct

While your feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism is welcome, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as community members, contributors, and maintainers pledge to making participation in Pantheon and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity and orientation, socioeconomic status, or technical ability. We don’t like having to remove comments, but we reserve the right to do so without warning in order to maintain a positive community experience for everyone.

2. Vote for the Product & Feature Requests You Like Most

Your votes matter! See a feature request or product suggestion you agree with? Let us know by casting your vote. If you are unable to cast your vote, you likely have not yet been granted those permissions in our forum. To learn more please email community@Pantheon.io.

3. Submitting A Product or Feature Request

The most helpful feature requests/product requests posts are the ones that describe the nature and scope of a problem at hand. Try to answer these questions in your post or comment:

  • What is the problem?
  • Why is it a problem?
  • How do you solve the problem today?
  • How would you ideally solve the problem?
  • How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact, who is impacted)

It’s much easier for us to address a suggestion if we clearly understand the context of the issue, the problem, and why it matters to you! :slightly_smiling_face:

4. Let’s Talk Expectations

We take feedback seriously; it’s driven many of the changes and improvements to our products over the years, and we believe it’s a vital part of making Pantheon better. While you have our promise that your feature/product requests will be shared with our team internally, posts are not guaranteed a response, or inclusion in any product roadmaps. Occasionally, we’ll share very general ideas of what is or isn’t on a roadmap, or roughly when you might expect to see something roll out. However, we do not share specifics, and often can’t tell you exactly what’s on the roadmap. Any timelines we share are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice.

5. Requests That Have Been Inactive For 6+ Months Will Be Archived

Don’t fret however! Your feature/product requests will be be retained internally and remain visible to Pantheon team members. To keep the community navigable and help us prioritize the requests that are most important to the largest number of users, topic maintenance is necessary. This doesn’t mean your idea was bad, or that it will never happen. It just means that it wasn’t something that came up for a lot of users. This also means that if there’s an idea you like, be sure to be active in that conversation!

Should you have any questions and/or concerns please send us an email at Community@Pantheon.io.
